ROGER WATERS
George Roger Waters (Great Bookham, 6 settembre 1943) è un cantautore, polistrumentista e compositore britannico. È stato bassista e cantante (assieme a David Gilmour e, in misura minore, a Richard Wright) dei Pink Floyd dal 1965 fino al 1984, anno in cui lasciò il gruppo e proseguì come solista. Negli ultimi anni in cui era nella band, Waters ne era diventato il principale autore sia di testi che di musiche, divenendo autore unico dell'album The Final Cut e della quasi totalità dei precedenti The Wall, Animals, Wish You Were Here e The Dark Side of the Moon. Waters è considerato uno dei più grandi parolieri di sempre, assieme a Bob Dylan e Neil Young. I suoi testi sono incentrati su argomenti di critica e denuncia sociale, politica e psicologia.
ERIC CLAPTON
Eric Patrick Clapton (Ripley, 30 marzo 1945) è un cantautore, chitarrista e compositore britannico. Soprannominato Slowhand (Mano lenta) e God (Dio), da Chuck Berry definito The Man of the Blues (L'uomo del Blues), Eric Clapton è uno dei più famosi e influenti chitarristi blues. Plurivincitore di Grammy Award, è l'unico musicista che vanta 3 inserimenti nella Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame (The Yardbirds, Cream, solista). La rivista Rolling Stone lo ha inserito al secondo posto dietro solo a Jimi Hendrix nella lista Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, che annovera i migliori chitarristi di tutti i tempi, eleggendolo quindi migliore chitarrista vivente.
