The Manchurian Candidate (Demme, 2004) [BDRip720p Ita-Eng][A.C.U.M.]

Trama :

Bennett Marco è un soldato veterano che dopo la sua esperienza nell'operazione militare denominata "Desert Storm" continua ad essere tormentato da allucinazioni e strani incubi, che scopre essere ricorrenti anche ad alcuni suoi ex commilitoni. Fra i suoi commilitoni c'è anche il Sergente Maggiore Raymond Shaw, figlio della Senatrice Eleanor Shaw, che si è candidato per il ruolo di Vice Presidente degli Stati Uniti. La senatrice è una donna manipolatrice ed oltremodo influente, legata da un rapporto morboso al figlio, al punto di essere stata la causa principale della fine della relazione del figlio con Jaqueline, figlia del senatore Tom Jordan, suo acerrimo rivale.

Investigando su cosa è accaduto veramente in Kuwait a se stesso e al suo commando, Bennett Marco scopre di essere stato sottoposto ad un lavaggio del cervello e a ripetuti esperimenti medici, compreso l'impianto di un microchip nel proprio corpo. Questo è accaduto sia a lui, sia a Shaw, sia a tutti gli altri commilitoni, molti dei quali negli anni successivi si sono suicidati. Bennet Marco risale alla Manchurian Global, multinazionale delle armi, fortemente collegata alla scena politica americana, ed in particolare alla famiglia Shaw. Bennet Marco viene anche affiancato dall'agente Eugenie Rose, dell'FBI, già sulle tracce di ciò che si cela dietro la Manchurian Global.

Marco tenta di rivelare come stanno le cose al senatore Tom Jordan, che crede solo parzialmente alle sue parole, ma ugualmente si confronta con...
