Plot:

A deranged scientist is using his employer's top-secret bio-laboratory to engage in clandestine eugenics experiments. When he starts kidnapping leading citizens for use in his twisted tests, it's up to rogue cop Mike Halstead to come to the rescue of all and sundry, including his lady friend Connie, who is also being held captive by the madman.

Although the synopsis might make it sound like a typical space opera, Wild, Wild Planet is anything but. Everything about the film simultaneously screams “bad!” and “weird!” The dubbed dialogue, for example, is as laughable as any Toho monster movie, with a mix of technobabble and would-be ‘60s clichés like “That’s the wildest, most way-out I’ve ever heard!” The grandstanding villain, Nurmi, constantly repeats his ill-conceived master plan, and his kidnappings are carried out by beautiful women teamed with bald, four-armed mutants. This is 1960s Italian sci-fi at its wildest and most way-out.

Trama:

Nel 2015 il mondo è governato da un'alleanza di nazioni che si riconoscono nella libertà e nella democrazia. La politica di pace e di collaborazione è però incrinata dalle mire economiche di potenti gruppi industriali e finanziari.
Sulla stazione orbitante Gamma 1 il dottor Nurmi, legato al potere economico, lavora a rivoluzionari progetti di trapianti e miniaturizzazione di organi umani. I suoi esperimenti non sono graditi al comandante della base, Mike Halstead (anche perché Nurmi gli corteggia la ragazza). Quando riceve l'incarico di indagare sulla scomparsa misteriosa di alcune personalità, Halstead sospetta dello scienziato. Disobbedendo agli ordini dei superiori che vorrebbero escluderlo dalle indagni, Mike parte alla volta del planetoide Delphos, roccaforte di Nurmi, e scopre che gli uomini scomparsi (e la donna che ama) sono tenuti prigionieri per essere sottoposti a diabolici esperimenti. Tutte le vittime sono state catturate dalle squadre di giovani donne che Nurmi ha creato in laboratorio ed inviato sulla Terra. Da Delphos, lo scienziato criminale progetta di piegare le Nazioni Unite alla sua volontà.
