Nato nel 1945 a Tampa, Florida e cresciuto a Kirkwood, Missouri, David Sanborn è un sassofonista statunitense tra i più apprezzati nel mondo della contaminazione tra jazz, pop e rock e quindi, tra gli appassionati di fusion.
