Recensione: Spider-Man 2
Non credo che sussistessero dubbi di sorta sull\'arrivo del sequel più annunciato del mondo (e mi sento di dire che avremo anche una Spider-Man 3), ma solo qualche perplessità sulla sua qualità. Beh, fugate ogni nube che potrebbe passarvi per la testa e gettatevi pure a capofitto in questa nuova avventura che non ha nulla da invidiare al primo capitolo.
La vita di Peter (Tobey Maguire) è molto cambiata: vive da solo in uno squallido appartamento, è iscritto all\'università, è molto preso da suo essere Spiderman, ma soprattutto ha rinunciato a Mary Jane (Kristen Dunst).
Tutto questo finché un incontro di \"famiglia\", ovvero lui, la zia May (Rosemary Harris), Mary Jane ed Harry (James Franco), non lo mette di fronte alla realtà di ciò che ha sacrificato per essere il supereroe costantemente additato dal Bugle ed oggetto delle critiche dell\'editore J.J. Jameson (J.K. Simmons).
Il senso di vuoto è quasi insostenibile e porta Peter ad una crisi di coscienza che potrebbe concludersi con la fine dell\'Uomo Ragno, ma la presenza di una nuova minaccia su New York, l\'instabile e pericolosissimo Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), sarà la molla che sosterrà il motto di sempre: \"Da un grande potere derivano grandi responsabilità!\".
Un film supereroistico si muove costantemente su un terreno difficile, ed il rischio di una caduta nel vuoto, anche se si è sostenuti da una robusta ragnatela, è dietro l\'angolo. La scelta di privilegiare l\'introspezione e l\'approfondimento dei personaggi, in questo secondo capitolo, si rivela fondamentale per coinvolgere lo spettatore, ma non dimentichiamo che il merito è di Sam Raimi, un regista, che con pochi abili tocchi riesce a dare la sua inconfondibile impronta.
Le riflessioni negli specchi e nei vetri, quasi fossero finestre sugli stessi personaggi (fantastica la scena dell\'esplosione del macchinario che porta alla \"morte\" di Octavius ed alla nascita di Doc Ock); le piccole attenzioni come la commedia di Mary Jane \"The importance of being Ernest\" (Oscar Wilde) che è costruita sulle doppie identità dei protagonisti e la cura negli effetti speciali - onnipresenti, ma non invasivi - rendono il film qualcosa di più di un action-movie.
Quindi via con i mille volteggi dell\'Uomo Ragno, ottenuti con la Spidey-cam (ovvero una telecamera che viene lanciata giù dai grattacieli), e con i combattimenti sulle pareti dei grattacieli mentre i tentacoli di Octopus, smontano le facciate dei palazzi.
Se proprio dobbiamo fare un appunto, questo nasce dal primo casting: la Dunst è totalmente fuori ruolo, ma tant\'è, si limita più o meno a fare la bambolina urlante.
Che dire per il futuro, speriamo che Raimi rimanga al timone con gli attori che hanno reso perfetto questo meccanismo, perché il rischio è quello di trovarci di fronte ad un secondo Batman, con due capitoli indimenticabili e poi il declino.
