En co-production avec le Buddha Bar, le plus grand fashion store italien, San Carlo dal 1973 de Turin, présente ce mix musical qui plonge ses racines dans les soirées du Big Chill de Londres et celles du Buddha Bar parisien
La Stefano Cecchi Records nasce dall'amicizia tra Stefano Cecchi (presidente di San Carlo dal 1973) e Raymond Visan (fondatore del gruppo George V e Buddha Bar).
La George V Records, di cui la Stefano Cecchi è partner e coproduttore, si è presentata al Midem 2002 di Cannes con oltre 600.000 copie di dischi venduti nel solo 2001.
La prima compilation frutto della coproduzione è Chill Out in Paris - San Carlo dal 1973 By Buddha Bar, curata e mixata da David Visan, resident Dj del Buddha Bar di Parigi, uscita nel giugno 2001 che ha consacrato in Italia il genere Chill Out.
Dopo il successo mondiale di vendita della prima edizione nel maggio 2002 esce Chill Out in Paris 2 - San Carlo dal 1973 By Buddha Bar firmata nuovamente da Visan.
Nello stesso mese è presentato in Italia Saturday Session - House Music Meets The Italian Fashion Stores; il progetto nasce dalle performances dal vivo dei Dj emergenti del mondo lounge e deep house che hanno animato il sabato del Men Store San Carlo dal 1973 a Torino. Nel progetto sono state coinvolte in partnership le mecche del retail italiano, Biffi di Milano, De Fano di Bari, Russo di Capri, Sugar di Arezzo. Nel settembre 2002 è uscita in tutta Europa l'edizione internazionale di Saturday Session.
A sancire il sempre più stretto legame tra la musica elettronica più cool ed il mondo fashion a novembre 2002 la Stefano Cecchi Records, in coproduzione con la George V Records, ha lanciato la compilation Fashion Week issue #1 fall/winter 2002/03, una selezione delle più belle musiche dalle passerelle di Parigi, Milano, Londra e New York che comprende i brani delle sfilate di Jil Sander, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Missoni, La Perla, Vivienne Westwood, Sonia Rykiel e Kenzo.
Fashion Week è il nuovo appuntamento musicale che seguirà il calendario delle sfilate e verrà pubblicato due volte all'anno.
In linea con questa filosofia le due case discografiche sono on-line con un sito interamente dedicato alla musica, dal quale è possibile acquistare cd, brani (publishing), merchandise e sintonizzarsi ad una radio 24 ore su 24.
