Il ricco e generoso Taddeo Rospo ha l'abitudine di cacciarsi spesso nei guai a causa della poca importanza che dà al denaro e delle sue strane e incontenibili manie. Così, quando si mette in testa di avere una fiammante auto rossa, nemmeno gli amici Tasso Mc Tass, Topus Water Rat e Talpino Sweet Mallow riescono a salvarlo dall'accusa di furto e dal carcere.
Ichabod Crane è invece uno strampalato insegnante che, arrivato in nuova città, finisce per invaghirsi di Katrina Van Tassel, la ragazza più bella e ambita. Ciò gli attira però le ire del bullo Brom Bones, che lo terrorizzerà con la storia del cavaliere nero senza testa.
