Bongo è un orsacchiotto acrobata cresciuto in circo, quando un bel giorno decide di fuggire per rifugiarsi nel bosco. Qui incontra la bella orsacchiotta Lulubelle. I due s'innamorano e lei, per dimostrare il suo amore, dà uno schiaffo a Bongo, come si usa nel bosco. Ma Bongo, che non capisce tale linguaggio, sentendosi rifiutato e offeso, scappa. Lulubelle nel rincorrerlo allo scopo di spiegargli il malinteso, s'imbatte nell'Orso Gigante che, per sbaglio, riceve da Lulubelle uno schiaffo destinato a Bongo. L'Orso Gigante credendo che la bella orsacchiotta sia innamorata di lui, l'abbraccia con trasporto. Allora Bongo, ingelosito da tale dimostrazione d'amore, sfida l'Orso Gigante in una lotta titanica..."La valle felice":C'era una volta una valle con un castello, dove un'arpa d'oro diffondeva tutt'intorno un suono dolcissimo.
