Nella Los Angeles del 1965, una madre vedova e le sue due figlie introducono un nuovo trucco alle loro consuete frodi spiritiche per ravvivare l'attività di famiglia, finendo per attirare senza volerlo un autentico spirito maligno nella propria casa. Quando la figlia più giovane viene posseduta dall'implacabile entità, questa piccola famiglia dovrà fare i conti con paure inimmaginabili per poterla salvare e rispedire il suo possessore nell'aldilà.
In Los Angeles in 1965, a widowed mother and her two daughters introduce a new trick to their usual spiritualistic frauds to revive the family business, only to unwittingly attract genuine evil spirit in their home. When the youngest daughter is possessed by the implacable entities, this small family will have to deal with unimaginable fears to be able to save and to send back its owner in the afterlife.
