Quasi un anno dopo che suo figlio è scomparso durante una parata di Halloween a New York, Mike Cole è inspiegabilmente perseguitato da terrificanti visioni del piccolo e comincia a percepirne la presenza in modi spaventosi. Spinto ad agire, Mike si riunisce con l'ex moglie Kristen e insieme scoprono una serie di terrificanti indizi sulla scomparsa, ritrovandosi ben presto alle prese con una storia secondo cui ogni anno, per Halloween, un fantasma vizioso e vendicativo torna in superficie per rapire bambini che, se non ritrovati, si perderanno per sempre nel mondo degli spiriti.
Almost a year after his son disappeared during a Halloween parade in New York, Mike Cole is inexplicably haunted by terrifying visions of the little and begins to perceive his presence in frightening ways. Spurred to action, Mike meets with ex-wife Kristen and together they discover a series of terrifying clues in the disappearance, soon he finds himself struggling with a story that every year, for Halloween, a vicious and vindictive ghost returns to the surface to kidnap children who, if not found, they will lose forever in the spirit world.
