In Fast & Furious 7, il gruppo di Dominic Toretto dovrà affrontare Ian Shaw, il fratello di Owen in cerca di vendetta.
Dopo gli eventi di Londra, Han viene assassinato a Tokyo da Deckard Shaw (come abbiamo appreso dall'ultima scena del sesto capitolo). Shaw vuole vendicare la morte del fratello e inizia a dare la caccia alla "famiglia" di Dom Toretto. Le vite di quest'ultimo e tutti gli altri, Roman, Tej, Letty, Brian e Mia, sono in pericolo. Anche l'agente Hobbs è sotto tiro, ma un ufficiale governativo che opera nell'ombra è pronto a fornire a Dom e al suo team strumenti e risorse necessari per eliminare Shaw. Per arrivare a questo devono prima liberare un misterioso hacker, rapito da un gruppo di terroristi, che ha creato un congegno capace di localizzare qualunque individuo in tempo reale sull'intero pianeta.
